what does everyone think of the domain name, the template, banner placements, categories/subjects, etc.

I like the theme and colors. IMHO it would be beneficial to incorporate something music related such as icons for the board images, or maybe something in the logo that "looks" music related. The visual impression it makes on a user is important. If a visitor just so happens by the site, the would have to read, to tell it was a music related site, however if the see an image of a guitar or music note, that would register easily, and then 'make' them read more. But that's just my opinion.
