1. Parties and covered product
This agreement is between Oddity Software LLC (Oddity) and the person or organization claiming the free product in an Oddity account (Licensee). It covers only the database product, release version and files identified in the $0 order (Licensed Product). The order and any expressly identified product addendum form the product schedule. A person claiming for an organization represents authority to bind it. Oddity grants a non-exclusive, worldwide, no-fee license to its own contributions in the Licensed Product under this agreement; the product is licensed, not sold.
2. Permitted use and sharing
Licensee may download the free release while it remains the current public version, retain lawfully downloaded copies, import, clean, transform, analyze and publish it in websites, applications, research, reports and client work. Licensee may copy and share the complete free dataset, including in its original format, if it includes all notices and license texts required by the product's source materials and clearly identifies the release/version. Licensee may permit recipients to use and further share Oddity-owned contributions under this same Free Publication License. Reasonable employee, contractor, development and backup use is permitted.
3. Integrity and source rights
Licensee must not remove applicable attribution or provenance notices, suggest Oddity or an upstream provider endorses its use, or misrepresent modified data as the original Oddity release. Independent rights under upstream licenses or public-domain status remain available; this agreement does not reduce them or claim ownership of underlying facts. A product-specific addendum may describe source notices or narrower Oddity-only permissions if the product requires them, without revoking separate upstream rights.
4. Versions and delivery
The grant covers the version identified in the $0 order. Downloads of that version are unlimited while it remains the current public version and the account remains eligible. Publication of a newer release ends access to the older download; it does not terminate lawful use or sharing of copies already obtained under this agreement. A future free release may be claimed through the then-current product flow, but is not automatically added to an earlier order. Oddity may suspend account delivery for fraud, security risk or material breach. No update frequency, continued hosting, support level or custom format is promised unless the listing expressly provides one.
5. Lawful use and responsibility
Licensee and downstream recipients are responsible for checking accuracy, handling files securely and complying with applicable privacy, marketing and other law. A contact field does not prove consent to send messages or place calls. Unlawful surveillance, fraud, harassment, discrimination, unauthorized access and false endorsements are prohibited.
6. Term and general terms
The grant begins when the $0 order is fulfilled. For Oddity-owned contributions, it continues for lawfully obtained copies unless Licensee materially breaches this agreement and fails to cure a remediable breach after reasonable notice when practicable. Rights granted independently by upstream sources survive any termination of this grant. Oddity's Terms of Service govern account and site operations, subject to mandatory law. Data is supplied as-is except for express listing commitments. The applicable warranty and liability limits, governing law and dispute process are those in the Terms of Service to the extent lawful. No trademark or endorsement right is included. A later revision does not silently alter an earlier $0 order.
7. Record and precedence
For new orders, Oddity should retain the exact published revision and digest accepted in the $0 checkout, the product schedule and any identified addendum. For an earlier chart-only order recorded as Free Publication, Oddity extends this published Free Publication grant to that order's purchased product and version from this revision's publication date. The original chart remains purchase-era evidence; Oddity does not claim the customer accepted this document at the earlier checkout. Uses before publication are assessed under the terms then presented. A future revision may add rights for an earlier holder but may not reduce this grant without that holder's assent. Mandatory law and independent upstream rights control first; an expressly accepted product addendum controls Oddity-specific exceptions; this license controls its grant; the general Terms of Service controls remaining account/site matters. A later addendum requires express acceptance.
