1. Parties and covered product
This agreement is between Oddity Software LLC (Oddity) and the purchaser identified in the Oddity order (Licensee). It applies when the product offers one complete license choice rather than Usage, Publication and Master tiers. It covers the entire listed database product, release version, included tables, formats, bundle and price identified in that order (Licensed Product). Single describes one product-wide offer; it does not limit the delivery to one file or Licensee to one named project. A purchaser for an organization represents authority to bind it. Oddity grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to its own contributions, not ownership of the product.
2. Permitted use and publication
Licensee may download the Licensed Product while its release remains current and may retain lawfully downloaded files for permitted use afterward. Licensee may copy, import, clean, transform, merge, analyze and back up the data for internal work. Licensee may publish data-driven websites, applications, maps, reports and other work, including client projects, without an arbitrary device, website or project cap within the licensed organization. Employees and supervised contractors may work with the files for Licensee's benefit.
3. Boundary for raw files
Licensee may deliver applications, reports, websites and other client work using the data, but may not hand over the complete raw dataset or a substantial reconstructable extract as an independent data product, operate a standalone data resale service, or sublicense Oddity-owned contributions. A specifically accepted product addendum may grant a broader raw-data handoff when appropriate. Public interfaces must not serve as a bulk substitute for the Licensed Product.
4. Sources and notices
Licensee must keep applicable source notices and comply with accompanying third-party license texts. Independent upstream and public-domain rights are not removed by this agreement; Oddity does not claim ownership of unprotectable facts. A specifically identified addendum may state narrower Oddity-specific conditions or product-required source notices without canceling independent rights. No upstream endorsement, copyright assignment or trademark right is granted.
5. Versions, delivery and support
This agreement covers only the ordered release. Downloads of that release are unlimited while it is the current public version and the order remains eligible. A newer public version ends old-release download access, not permitted use of already obtained files. A later version needs a new order or an expressly offered update. Oddity may suspend delivery for refund, reversal, fraud, security risk or material breach. Refreshes, custom formats and support exist only as expressly stated in the listing or another agreement.
6. Lawful use and responsibility
Licensee must assess accuracy and suitability, protect controlled copies and obey applicable privacy, marketing, consumer-protection and other law. Contact details do not establish consent. Fraud, harassment, discrimination, unlawful surveillance and unauthorized access are prohibited.
7. Term, remedies and general terms
The grant starts at fulfillment and continues for the purchased release unless ended for material breach, nonpayment or valid refund or reversal. Where practicable, Oddity will give reasonable notice and opportunity to cure a remediable breach. On termination, Licensee must stop uses dependent on this grant and delete controlled copies except legally required records; independent source rights survive. Oddity's Terms of Service and Return and Digital Purchase Policy govern site, account, payment and dispute administration subject to mandatory law. Data is supplied as-is except for express listing or order commitments. Applicable warranty and liability limits, governing law and dispute process are those in the Terms of Service to the extent lawful. A later revision does not silently alter an earlier order.
8. Record and precedence
For new orders, Oddity should retain the exact published revision and digest accepted at checkout, the product schedule and any addendum. For an earlier chart-only order recorded as a single-product Publication license, Oddity extends this published Single Product Publication grant to that order's entire purchased package and version from this revision's publication date. The original chart remains purchase-era evidence; Oddity does not claim the customer accepted this document at the earlier checkout. Uses before publication are assessed under the terms then presented. A future revision may add rights for an earlier holder but may not reduce this grant without that holder's assent. Mandatory law and independent upstream rights control first; an expressly accepted product addendum controls Oddity-specific exceptions; this license controls its grant; general Terms of Service govern remaining account/site matters. Later addenda require express acceptance.
