The October 8, 2026 update to the U.S. Non-Profit Organizations Database is build #161, version 2.0.0. It contains 1,960,014 selected tax-exempt organization records identified by EIN. The count describes this release population, not every nonprofit in the United States.
Which tables are included?
- Usage:
organizationsfor names, EINs, filing addresses, and basic classifications. - Publication: adds
tax_profilewith available exemption, affiliation, and filing codes. - Master: adds
financial_snapshotwith return-derived financial fields and their tax periods where available.
Join the tables using EIN. Preserve leading zeros in imported identifiers. A filing or headquarters address is not a complete list of operating locations, and blank financial values should not be treated as zero.
