Open My Downloads and choose Upgrade License on a completed Usage or Publication database purchase. Usage may offer Publication and Master; Publication may offer Master. Available choices depend on the product and licenses already owned. The checkout shows the difference between the current catalog prices for your existing tier and the higher tier.

The upgrade applies to the version on your original purchase, including when a newer version has since been released. It expands your rights for that purchased version but does not provide the newer files or restore download access to a superseded version.

After a Master upgrade is completed, an eligible account can purchase the current release through the separate Master update offer. That update costs one quarter of the current catalog Usage base price, with no 30-day window. Review the offer shown for your account before ordering. Read about version updates.
