What's included in the U.S. Bars and Pubs Database 2.0.0?

Coverage, formats, field statistics and license options for the fixed-vintage U.S. Bars and Pubs Database 2.0.0 release.

Choosing dataDatabasesData quality

Version 2.0.0 contains 97,738 listed venue locations across the 50 states and Washington, DC. It focuses on establishments primarily serving alcohol for consumption on the premises, including bars, pubs, taverns, beer gardens and nightclubs. Restaurants whose main business is meals and packaged-alcohol stores are outside this focused scope.

Each row is a venue location reported open in the source snapshot. This is a fixed release, not a live list or a guarantee that every location remains open today. Check individual locations before time-sensitive use.

The package supplies the same validated Venues table in CSV, JSON and SQLite, along with a schema, field dictionary, documentation, full-release statistics and 100-record samples. Its 43 fields separate current source values from historical context on confidently matched older Oddity records. Public Distinct and Missing counts measure every published column across the full release, with null and blank values counted as missing.

Usage Rights ($50) support internal work. Publication Rights ($100) add customer-facing and client-project uses without bulk dataset handoff. Master Rights ($200) add raw or transformed dataset handoff within a genuine client project. Review the linked license terms for the exact rights.

See the version 2.0.0 Journal update for practical examples and limitations, then inspect the product samples, schema, statistics and license options.
