An RV park is a location where one can park their Recreational Vehicle (RV) for a period of time whether it's overnight or for a longer stay. Sometimes an RV park is referred to as a camping ground or caravan park where tenting facilities are available too. The parks come in different shapes and sizes, and they are a popular option for campers.Although not all parks are the same, many offer the same services such as swimming pools, laundry services, convenience stores, telephone connections, barbeque areas, picnic tables, gift shops, and the like. RV parks vary from small, rustic, locations with no running water or electricity, to modern, huge, fully equipped parks that cater for your every need, rivaling posh hotels. The amenities can include WiFi Internet access, cable hookup, and AC hookups as well as a number of different extras.
RV parks are generally government-funded, particularly those that border national parks and such. Despite this, there are many in the United States that are privately owned and clients can rent them in the same fashion as they would a hotel or motel, i.e. daily, weekly, or monthly and sometimes longer. Some RV parks operate on a timeshare basis too.
RV parks can be found in a number of different locations and are very popular in the United States. They are found in rural places such as national parks, as mentioned before, nature reserves, other places of interest and traditional campsites that now accommodate RVs too due to the rising popularity of RV users currently.
