What changed in Grocers and Supermarkets Database version 2.0.0?
See the 293,339-location scope, four related tables, dated enrichment, file formats, and Master update path.
Version 2.0.0 contains 293,339 U.S. food-retail locations across all 50 states and Washington, DC. It separates 101,191 core grocery locations from 192,148 adjacent food-retail locations. The directory snapshot is dated September 23, 2026.
Four related tables connect stable location IDs to classifications, 492,367 published phone or website contact channels, and optional source enrichment. The Master package includes 14,106 positive matches to SNAP retailer attributes as of October 7, 2026. A location without a positive SNAP match remains unassessed by that enrichment. The release provides CSV, JSON, and SQLite files, plus schemas, field profiles, samples, and source notices.
Usage, Publication, and Master packages have different licensed rights and included files. Review the current product page and license terms before choosing a tier. If your account has an eligible earlier Master version, sign in and use the version-update offer shown for this release. The offer depends on your recorded prior-version eligibility.
This is a dated directory, not a census or independent confirmation that every business is operating today. Verify addresses, contacts, and operating status before relying on a record for a current decision. See the product page for the current table statistics and samples. For the full release story and four-table diagram, read the version 2.0.0 Journal article.
