How to use the U.S. Veterinarian Practice Locations Database 2.0.0
Compare the three packages, join all six tables, and inspect the current veterinarian practice samples and field statistics.
Start with the U.S. Veterinarian Practice Locations Database 2.0.0 product page to compare package contents, prices, samples and field statistics. This release has 39,007 U.S. practice location records. A record describes a listed place, not an individual veterinarian or a verified professional license.
Which package should I choose?
Veterinarian Practice Directory (Usage) supplies the 39,007-row locations table for internal research, mapping and analysis. Veterinarian Contacts and Classifications (Publication) adds 135,122 contact rows and 79,062 classification rows, with publication rights for customer-facing sites, apps, reports and client projects. Complete Veterinarian Practice Data (Master) adds 412 brand summaries, 4,532 brand-location relationships and 38 dated historical contact rows, with the stated Master client handoff rights. Check the linked license for the exact permissions and limits of your use.
How do the tables connect?
location_id joins contacts, classifications and historical contacts to locations. The brand_locations table contains both location_id and brand_id, connecting a listed location to a brand label in the brands table. A location can have multiple contact and classification rows, so count locations from the locations table rather than adding table totals together.
What files and previews are available?
Each purchased package includes matching UTF-8 CSV, JSON and SQLite files for its included tables. Before purchase, switch among all six table tabs in the product page’s schema and field statistics and representative samples. The statistics show each published field’s distinct and missing values; the samples show the column layout and example rows.
How should I interpret coverage?
Addresses and coordinates support location analysis, while published contact channels, operating status and brand labels should be checked for the use you have in mind. The 38 historical contact rows are dated supplements, not current contact verification. Use the supplied identifiers when joining records and preserve the release version with your project.
