The US State Nicknames Reference is a structured, evidence-led guide to the best-known nicknames of all 50 states plus the District of Columbia. Each row identifies the primary nickname, its support level, additional established names, formal designation year when documented, an evidence summary, and the responsible government source. Status labels deliberately distinguish nicknames adopted or explicitly designated by government from names that government pages merely recognize and from common or historical usage. The protected package includes matching UTF-8 CSV, JSON, and SQLite files plus schema, sample, statistics, source documentation, and integrity evidence.
