What this database measures

A station is a physical AFDC location identified by a stable station ID. Port totals are station-level Level 1, Level 2, and DC fast counts. Connector rows describe the connector capabilities reported for a station. They are not invented individual chargers, and this periodic release is not real-time availability data.

Eight normalized tables

• stations: station identity, name, normalized address, jurisdiction, coordinates, status, access, network identifier, facility type, source dates, connector summary, and port totals.
• station_connectors: one row per station and reported connector code.
• station_port_summaries: one row per station with source Level 1, Level 2, DC fast, and total port counts.
• networks: reusable factual charging-network or operator identifiers and station coverage counts.
• station_access_profiles: public or private access, source access groups, hours, restrictions, workplace charging, and vehicle class.
• station_lifecycle_events: normalized opening, expected or temporarily unavailable, confirmation, and source-update dates from the current snapshot.
• funding_sources: distinct source funding codes.
• station_funding_sources: station-to-funding relationships.

Source, refresh, and rights

The release is built from a complete official AFDC U.S. electric-station snapshot, with the exact endpoint, retrieval time, bytes, SHA-256, field documentation, and collection-method evidence recorded in the signed build. Refreshes repeat the complete snapshot and compare stable station IDs. AFDC terms allow the data to be used for any purpose whatsoever. Attribution and the included limitations must be preserved. No DOE, NLR, AFDC, charging-network, utility, or government endorsement is implied.

Network logos, provider descriptions, proprietary imagery, marketing copy, reviews, ratings, map tiles, commercial-app prices, rankings, and live-availability claims are excluded. Verify current operating conditions directly before travel, charging, investment, construction, or safety decisions.
